Juan Seba Veron's agent claims the Argentine international wants to leave Chelsea following speculation linking him with a move to Inter Milan.
Veron joined the Blues in a £15million move from Manchester United last summer, but has failed to make an impression at Stamford Bridge after spending the better part of the season on the sidelines through injury.
According to the 29-year-old's representative, Fernando Hidalgo, the midfielder is keen on a return to Italy and has told the west London club's chief executive Peter Kenyon he wants to quit the Russian revolution.
Hidalgo told The Guardian: "He met Kenyon and told him that he wants to be sold. He would love to return to Italy where he has his best memories as a player."
The former Sampdoria, Parma and Lazio player revealed on Thursday he would welcome a move to Inter as it would be a challenge to bring glory back to the Nerazzurri.
He said: "There is that possibility, but we have to wait until the end of the season to see who will coach Inter. My availability is there.
"I have the will to come back to Italy. I'm 29 years old and I'd like to live the last important step of my career in a country that has already given me a lot.
"It's a lifestyle choice, although I am happy in London and happy at Chelsea.
"It would be stimulating to play for Inter as it's many years since the club have won a big title."
